"Krešimir Katušić is a contemporary Croatian sculptor whose works explore the primitive beginnings and the complex balance between nature and human creativity. BIOGRAPHYKrešimir Katušić obtains the title of mag. sculpture in 2011 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in the class of prof. Miro Vuco. He worked as an art co-therapist in the art workshop of the Day Rehabilitation Center "Mala kuća". He is the author of many socially engaged projects, of which the Creativity as a Bridge project won the Rector's Award. He presents his sculptural and theoretical works at philosophical symposia and art academies in Croatia and abroad.
There are nine sculptural works installed on public surfaces and spaces in Croatia and one in Austria. He exhibited his works at nineteen solo exhibitions and participated in several collective exhibitions. In 2021, he received his doctorate at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, under the mentorship of academician Petr Barišić and Prof. Ph.D. Žarko Paić. He is a member of HDLU Zagreb and HZSU.
