In his artistic work, Krešimir Katušić explores fundamental, universal ideas that cross the boundaries of time and space, focusing on archetypal forms and symbols. Through works such as the series "Arché and the State of Complex Balance", "Edges and Cracks", and "Dance of Life", Katušić creates sculptures that evoke anthropological themes about universal knowledge, ancient wisdom and harmony with nature. His creative process relies on "intuitive geometry", where forms develop spontaneously, finding a balance between stability and dynamism. Although they use modern materials and techniques, his works exude primordial, cult symbolism, which makes his artistic expression manifest as a collection of knowledge that transcends the individual and connects it to collective memory. His sculpture is not just an object, but a means for meditating on the nature of existence and the continuous transformation that accompanies all forms of life.

Katušić's work encompasses a wide range of activities, from creating public sculptures, such as "Ples života" (Dance of Life) in Zagreb, to the documentary film "Spona," which explores the symbolic dimension of art. As a member of HZSU and HDLU, Katušić stands out for his ability to combine contemporary materials and technologies with traditional approaches, creating universally comprehensible artistic forms. His exhibitions and installations are often interdisciplinary, involving collaborators from various fields of art and science, adding a dimension of dialogue and collective experience to his work. Katušić's creativity does not rely solely on aesthetics but delves into the deeper meaning of forms as carriers of universal messages. His symbolic language is rooted in stylization, where elements like the human embryo or scrolls become universal codes that communicate messages of creation, community, and continuous renewal. This innovative and philosophical approach makes Katušić's work highly distinctive and relevant in the contemporary art context.
